Lee Blain (Sonny) Harris, age 82, of Refugio, TX (formerly of Weston, WV) passed away at 4:30 AM, on January 17, 2026, following a brief illness. Lee was born on November 8, 1943, in Cowen, WV to the late Thomas Harris and Alverta May Shoulders Harris.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters: Paul, Wayne, and Zane Harris, and Elizabeth Harris, Emma Edith Harris Weese, and Madeline Harris Weese. Surviving are one sister Hazel Gould; five sons: Clarence Rowan (Beverly Beckner) of Buckhannon, WV, Tim Kraus of Jane Lew, WV, David Harris (Charlotte) of San Antonio, TX, Martin Harris (Rowena) of Vine Grove, KY, Thomas Harris (Mary) of Vine Grove, KY; one daughter Joni Harris (Shane) of Vine Grove, KY; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Lee enjoyed the outdoors, watching the birds and squirrels, and gardening. Lee had several different types of jobs throughout his life.
A graveside service and interment will be held at the Laurel Fork Cemetery and announced at a later time.
